 Pet Therapy
Volunteers of the Naperville Area Humane Society conduct over 50 pet therapy visits each month to local area nursing homes, hospitals, convalescent centers and disabled individuals. These visits are an important part of the healing process as patients experience the unconditional love and affection that our special companion animals offer. Pet therapy visits also help patients shift focus away from themselves as they consider the needs of other living beings. Please consider becoming a pet therapy volunteer with your own cat or dog.
