Paws for Tales Reading Program
Our certified dog and volunteer teams help children ages 5 and older to feel more comfortable by reading aloud to a dog and therefore improving their reading skills in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. NAHS supplies the books which all contain humane themes such as kindness, empathy and compassion. We are happy to report that seven schools are receiving visits from our teams and the results are extremely positive.
