Lead Animal Care Technician - Jenifer Cotner

Jenifer Cotner is the Lead Animal Care Technician for Naperville Area Humane Society. Jenifer has been with Naperville Area Humane Society for six years.

Jenifer brings more than 20 years of customer service experience to the job. After 10 years of service at Schweppe and Sons, Jenifer decided to make a career change and went back to school. One of her classes required her to complete some community service hours, and Naperville Area Humane Society was one of the choices on the list that caught her eye.

Jenifer started out volunteering with Naperville Area Humane Society in July 2002, and then she became a part-time employee in November 2002. Jenifer became a full-time staff member in 2003. Jenifer’s duties include animal care, adoption counseling, building maintenance and purchasing.

Jenifer shares her home with two dogs, five cats, five birds, five rabbits, one tolerant husband named Stuart.
