Events
 Events are a great way for NAHS to reach out to our community and raise much-needed funds to advance our mission. Our Summer golf outing, Putts for Pets, is always a popular event. In October, our annual dinner dance and silent auction attracts Naperville's movers and shakers who support the shelter.

| Heart of Downtown - February 10-20, 2012 |
The Heart of Downtown event takes place February 10-20. If you purchase items at select downtown Naperville businesses, they will donate a portion of your purchase to NAHS!
So get some goodies for your pets at Two Bostons, enjoy a stuffed pizza from Giordano's, sample some unique olive oil at Twisted Olive and find the gift for that special someone at SaraBoo Creek!
There's just one catch: you must ASK for the Heart of Downtown form and select NAHS from the six non-profits located in Naperville. So be sure to visit downtown Naperville for your shoppign needs. You will be supporting local businesses and helping the cats and dogs of NAHS!

| Pet Supplies Plus Outreach Event - Saturday, February 11, 2012 |
| Can't make it into the shelter? Come visit one or two of the homeless pets available for adoption at Pet Supplies Plus. NAHS volunteers will be on hand to answer questions noon until 3:00 PM. Pet Supplies Plus is located at 2747 Forgue Drive, Naperville (near 95th Street and Route 59). |

NAHS staff and volunteers will be on hand to facilitate adoptions at different locations around town. We are at PETCO on Route 59 near Fox Valley the fourth Saturday of each month. We will be onsite noon until 3:00 PM. |

| Human Race - Saturday, April 21, 2012 |
Are you a walker or runner? Do you want to help a great cause while getting some exercise wih your dog? Then join NAHS for the Humane Race, a 5K run/ 2 mile fitness walk and fundraiser for charities and non-profits serving DuPage County!
The race takes place on Saturday, April 21 at 9:00 AM in Danada Forest Preserve in Wheaton. All ages can participate and dogs are welcome on the fitness walk. Be part of the NAHS team for this exciting event. We have set a goal of 100 participants raising $10,000 - that's asking 10 friends to donate $10. NAHS will use the funds raised from this event for shelter renovations and to continue providing exceptional care to the dogs and cats in our community.
