Events
 Events are a great way for NAHS to reach out to our community and raise much-needed funds to advance our mission. Our Summer golf outing, Putts for Pets, is always a popular event. In October, our annual dinner dance and silent auction attracts Naperville's movers and shakers who support the shelter.

Join NAHS at Zaidi's on July 8 for an evening of fun as our celebrity bartenders serve up some fantastic beverages. Zaidi's will be donating 20% of food sales in the bar along with any bartending tips to NAHS. Celebrity bartenders include:

| Dog Days of Summer Blood Drive - Wednesday, July 8, 2009 |
We are excited to host a "Dog Days of Summer" Blood Drive in partnership with Heartland Blood Centers on July 8, 1:00-6:00 PM. Heartland's mobile coach will be on-hand at the Humane Society. They will be grilling hot dogs and each donor will receive a coupon for a free quart of Oberweis ice cream.
To make your appointment to donate, sign up online at Heartland Blood Centers. We hope you will help us give back to the community by joining us for this blood drive. Come for the hot dogs and give for the ice cream!

| Canine Massage 101: Relaxing Rover - Tuesday, July 21, 2009 |
Learn the benefits of canine massage, both for healthy dogs and dogs recovering from an injury. Massage can play an integral part of your dog's total and continuous health care program. Our special guest speaker is Anna Jurik, a Certified Canine Massage Therapist. She will demonstrate massage techniques to increase circulation, reduce stress and improve muscle tone. Immediately following the presentation will be a Q&A session. This free seminar will begin at 6:30 PM in the Naperville Area Humane Society lobby. Additional parking can be found along Wall Street.
