Virtual Adopt-a-Thon
NAHS is sponsoring this Virtual Adopt-a-thon to help raise money for our cats, dogs and humane education programs. These loving humans
listed below are in need of a good home, so "adopt" as many of them as you like. 100% of all virtual adoption fees will benefit NAHS. We receive donations to support the shelter and from people from all over
the country who give as a means of supporting not only NAHS, but the efforts of our dedicated volunteers and the supporters below. If you'd like to leave a comment when you donate, that's great!
We'll update each adoptee's total pledges every few days, so check back often! Donations are 100% tax deductible, and we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

| Hello, my name is Kitty Purry, and this is my office assistant Sue. We have been working together for six months, but from what I understand Sue has been here for much longer, poor thing. We are responsible for reports of people visiting the shelter, surrenders, answering phones, and lots of different projects. There are two things which I do not do well on, that is filing and putting stamps on the mailings. The file drawer is way up in the air and I just can't seem to reach it, and the stamping of letters, well let's put it this way, I don't have thumbs and that sticky stuff just isn't my cup of tea. So, Sue helps me with all that. The best part of my day is when we open for adoptions and I can meet and greet people. Comments:

| I’ve been told by many that I am a Tim Allen look-alike. Especially in his Santa Clause movies.This Look-A-Like breed of dog is a friendly sort and is always roaming the neighborhood. He’s helpful in burying a bone in a backyard or fetching a stick for others. He has been known to chase a cat every now and again but never to cause harm. He just wants to ‘talk’. He is so misunderstood!He enjoys sitting on the deck of his house overseeing his domain. Squirrels beware! Even the odd flea or fly can’t escape his keen eye. His treat of choice is an 8 oz. filet that is medium rare. He prefers a nice merlot red wine but will settle for a dish of water when a corkscrew isn’t available.Our Look-A-Like breed also enjoys chasing cars. Some of his favorites are fast sport cars but hasn’t been able to catch one since he was a puppy. These days he can be seen on a golf course chasing a little white ball.
